Yahoo! becomes empty

The president of the management board of yahoo! quits. His department officialy has to speed up the reformation of the company, but it isn't a secret anymore that yahoo! keeps getting more trouble to stand against Google and Facebook.
Roy Bostock, head of yahoo since 2008, leaves the internet company. The management board of yahoo also gets reshuffled. Three more high staff members leave the company, and are getting replaced by new people. Bostock was the man who got an offer from microsoft, but he refused the bid. Ironically the bid was double the price of what the company is worth now. Last year the two companies still worked together.
Bostock wants to make sure that his departure goes quietly, so that the company can undergo a transformation under the lead of a new director Scott Thompson, who earned his stripes at the company "Paypal", the payment service of ebay.
The departure of Bostock happens just two weeks after the departure of the co-founder Jerry Yang from the company. That's why the company could start off without the past, but gets to face a bitter hard task at the same time. At the end of this summer the company needs to be screened completely and there have to be found any solutions to yahoo back its glory as it had before.
Yahoo is searching for new investors, and new technologies to be able to stand against Google and Facebook. Those two companies are succeeding beter than anyone to get ads with their services, something where yahoo keeps getting worse results. Yahoo saw its profits decrease by 21% last year by not having the opportunity to get ads.
The company, that in the days when internet became much-used by normal people was one of the best internet companies to date, still scores well with their news services for sports and finances, but slacks succeeding to reach out new innovating ideas.
